On the occasion of the 60th birthday of the President, members of ORL-BAL and friends of our Society (special thanks to Prof. Sopko and voice therapist Mrs. E. Walde) have organised a half-day symposium with different subjects: Prof Probst will speak about acronyms like ORL-BAL, USB, MP and others. Prof. Dergenc, as guest from Serbia and Montenegro, will speak about difficulties of practicing our specialty in his country. Prof. Monnier from Lausanne will speak about tracheal stenosis, a subject which had made his work internationally famous, Dr. Arnoux will present results of partial laryngectomies, which he has introduced in Aarau, and Prof. Sopko will talk about fascinating aspects of phoniatry.
