Professors Joseph Sopko, voice specialist from Basel and Aarau and Mihael Podvinec form Aarau, held lectures at a one-day symposim dedicated to the „Care of the professional voice“.
J. Sopko presented „The picture of the human voice in the stroboscopical examination“, showing, amongst others, rare videos of laryngeal function in players of wind instruments, yodelers and professional singers.
M. Podvinec spoke on new methods of early diagnosis of laryngeal cancer, a study performed in his Department by Lecturer Dr. Marcel Kraft. The Symposium, honoring the International Voice Day, was organised by the Serbian ORL Society and chaired by its President, Professor Vojko Đukić. Very interesting lectures were presented by prominent voice specialists and endoscopic surgeons of the country. The topics mainly concerned new diagnostic tools and operative techniques in the therapy of disorders in professional voice users and recommendations in the care of the professional voice. Professoren Joseph Sopko und Mihael Podvinec waren eingeladene Gäste am Symposium, welchen die Serbische ORL-Gesellschaft am 15.4.2011 zur Feier des Internationalen Tages der Stimme organisierten.
Den Vorsitz hatte Prof. Dr. Vojko Đukic, selber erfahrener Kehlkopfchirurg. J. Sopko sprach über „Die menschliche Stimme im stroboskopischem Bild“, und zeigte seltene Videoaufnahmen des Kehlkopfes bei Spielern von Blasinstrumenten, bei Jodlern und Berufssängern.
M. Podvinec zeigte neue Methoden der Frühdiagnostik bei Krebsverdacht im Kehlkopf, Ergebnisse einer Studie welche in Aarau von PD Dr. Marcel Kraft durchgeführt wurde. Einige prominente Phoniater des Landes brachten interessante Beiträge über die spezielle Bedeutung der Diagnostik und Chirurgie bei Berufssprechern und Sängern, sowie von präventiven Massnahmen bei diesen Berufsgattungen. Profesori Joseph Sopko, fonijatar iz Basela i Aaraua i Mihael Podvinec iz Aaraua bili su gosti na simpozijumu, koji je povodom Međunarodnog dana glasa organizovala ORL sekcija Srpskog lekarskog društva pod predsedništvom profesora Voje Đukića.
Simpozijum je održan u svečanoj sali Dekanata Medicinskog fakulteta, a glavna tema bila je „Profesionalni glas“. Stručnjaci iz Srbije, mahom fonijatri i hirurzi, dali su veoma zanimljive prikaze o dijagnostičkim procedurama i terapijskim zahvatima kod pacijenata – profesionalaca glasa.
